BMW X3 2022: First Look & New Details

Next year BMW will refresh the successful SUV. However, the most important changes are already incorporated into series production - for example, significantly more efficient drives.

After almost three years on the market, the BMW X3 is due for a facelift. We have already caught the facelift model with a camouflaged front and masked rear and have the latest pictures and information for you!

The fully electric brother of the X3 has recently been available to order under the name iX3, so it is time again to concentrate on the facelift of the “old hands”. The popular compact SUV is getting an update which, judging by the pictures, will mainly affect the front and rear.

If you don’t want to wait any longer for the facelift, you can get the latest BMW X3 offers and save an average of 9,800 euros.

BMW X3 2022 Prices

It will be a while before the market launch, we assume that the presentation of the face-lifted X3 will take place next year. In terms of price, so much is unlikely to change. We estimate that the updated version could be available for 46,000 euros.

Engines

Since the current X3 offers a very good selection in terms of engines, it will stay that way with the facelift. The six-cylinder diesel engines have recently been renewed and as far as the four-cylinder diesel is concerned, these will probably be converted to the latest generation. Alternative drives are also available: The X3 plug-in hybrid is only from 2019 and the electric iX3 is still brand new.

BMW X3 2022 Back

The six-cylinder petrol engine from the X3 M series is also new, so we are assuming that the engines will not produce any surprises.

Although the front and rear are still heavily camouflaged, the changes to the headlights and taillights can still be seen easily. It seems that the kidney will also get an overhaul and we assume that it will be one size larger, as with the latest BMW models. A huge grill like the one the new BMW 4 Series will have is rather unlikely.

BMW X3 2022 Interior

As is usual with most facelifts, the interior will hardly change noticeably, because it is not a completely new model. Eventually, the 10.25-inch screen for the infotainment system will become a 12-inch screen and there should also be new upholstery colors and detail elements.
