Skoda Fabia 2021: Facelift, Photos & Price

The current generation of Skoda Fabia will say goodbye shortly. Despite this, the Czech brand updates the current model, with small aesthetic changes and important mechanical novelties.

The Skoda Fabia is one of the most veteran urban vehicles on the market, something that is especially noticeable if we compare it with other models such as the Opel Corsa, Peugeot 208, Renault Clio, or the Toyota Yaris.

However, the vehicle of the Czech brand does not disappoint at all, since it continues to be competitive due to its mechanics, interior use, or its great price-product ratio. For this last reason, it is one of the strongest rivals of the Dacia Sandero, which has just presented its third generation with a surprising qualitative leap.

The year 2021 will be key for the Skoda Fabia, as it will debut its new generation with the modern MQB-A0 platform – such as the Seat Ibiza or the Volkswagen Polo -. Therefore, the current model receives a small update to keep up with its last moments in the market.

The most remarkable? On an aesthetic level, the Skoda Fabia 2021 presents a renewed design of its alloy wheels, while the cabin receives a new steering wheel and improvements to the infotainment system.

But the most important thing is under the hood. On the one hand, it launches the 1.0 TSI 95 hp gasoline option linked to a DSG dual-clutch automatic gearbox with seven relationships. With this combination, it develops a maximum torque of 160 Nm, reaches 186 km / h, and registers an average consumption of 5.9 liters / 100 km. Also, the 110 hp 1.0 TSI petrol block returns, now adapted to Euro 6d regulations. With the six-speed manual transmission, it develops a maximum torque of 200 Nm, reaches up to 196 km / h, and consumes 5.7 liters / 100 km.
